I am Shona and I have been crafting since I was a child, always doodling and searching my environment for things that inspire me.
My mother was a pottery teacher and now she makes silver jewellery. Creativity in my household was an imperative part of our well-being. I have drawn everything from monkeys to cityscapes and used materials of all shapes and sizes to experiment with.
I love creating commissioned work, as I enjoy getting to know my client and finding out what exactly they want from the finished artefact. That sense of teamwork makes the process seem so much more unique and authentic.
